BW Ideol Projects Company (BWIPC)

Company

BWIPC is the development subsidiary of BW Ideol, the leader in offshore floating wind energy with its innovative floater design, DampingPool, which allows for concrete and steel construction. To complement its parts manufacturing business BW Ideol has aimed to go down the value chain as a developer by acquiring equity in project companies. Recently, in a joint-venture with the companies BayWa and Elicio, BW Ideol has won a call for tender in Scotland to develop a 1GW project.

ADEME Investissement and BW Ideol have joined together in the company BWIPC, which will carry out the BW Ideol group’s development projects.
